Announcement on Alumni Information Collection from the International College of Zhengzhou University
Melodies Resound Across Continents, Alumni Gatherings Unite Kindred Spirits. With an aim to strengthen global ties among faculty and alumni, and unite the strength of Zhengzhou University’s alumni across the world, the International College of Zhengzhou University is officially initiating preparations to establish an Alumni Association. We cordially invite alumni from across the globe and various fields to return to Zhengzhou University, reminisce about precious friendships, and share memories of youthful years. Moving forward, the Alumni Association will serve as a vital link, fostering collaboration among alumni to jointly pursue dreams and embark on new journeys.
Development History of the International College
Since its inception, the International College of Zhengzhou University has forged a steadfast path in Sino-foreign cooperative education, achieving
remarkable milestones over two decades of growth and integration.
In 2004, the college signed a partnership agreement with the University of Wollongong, Australia, marking the beginning of substantive international collaboration.
In 2007, the Florida International College of Zhengzhou University was formally established and enrolled students.
In 2013, following a decision by the university, the college was officially renamed the International College of Zhengzhou University, signifying a comprehensive upgrade in its positioning and functions.
In 2016, the International College assumed unified management of all Sino-foreign cooperative education programs of the university, forming a new model of centralized and standardized enrollment.
In 2023, with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, Zhengzhou University and Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand jointly established the Wellington Institute – a non-independent legal entity and the first Sino-foreign cooperative educational institution. This institute is co-located with the International College of Zhengzhou University, marking a breakthrough in the university’s international educational cooperation. The same year, approved by the Ministry of Education, Zhengzhou University deepened its collaboration with the University of Wollongong, Australia and upgraded its three undergraduate programs to “4+0” dual degree programs based on existing programs.
The establishment and development of the International College over the past two decades represent Zhengzhou University’s commitment to advancing the national strategy for opening up of education and deepening international exchanges and cooperation. Throughout the years, our talented graduates, now excelling globally in their respective fields, are the pride of Zhengzhou University.
Call for Participation from the International College
1. Target Participants
Former faculty and staff members who were engaged in educational, teaching, and administrative work, and graduates who pursued their studies during various periods at Zhengzhou University’s Sino-foreign cooperative education programs (institutions), Florida International College of Zhengzhou University, and International College of Zhengzhou University.
2. Registration
To continuously improve the alumni service system of Zhengzhou University and provide better, more comprehensive services for all alumni, we are now collecting and updating alumni information from previous graduates. All faculty members and alumni are invited to participate in the following ways:
