中!郑州站,大十字 Zhengzhou Rail Stn
中国铁路网上有一座城市,不是首都,不是上海,但是效果十分重要。最初位于陇海铁路和京汉铁路,如今为河南省「米字」高铁枢纽的铁路郑州站,值得所有人在其中国旅程在此驻足、始发、终到一次。
It's not the Chinese capital, or the most populous city — but the city of Zhengzhou is of key importance in the Chinese railway network. What started off as where the Peking-Hankow Railway and the Longhai Railway met is now a veritable 8-way HSR hub, and its main station, Zhengzhou, is and remains one of these stations certainly worth a trip to, from, and through.
这座老火车站现在只有 13 座站台(按站台面计算),但是属于郑州市的普速铁路枢纽,当然也有许多高速铁路列车。郑州站也是地铁 1、10 号线的换乘站,并是后者的市区顶端站。
The station is big, but not enormous — there are 13 platforms here, but is a hub for especially Classic Rail. You can easily see, though, visible activity from High Speed trains as well. It's also where, in the Zhengzhou Metro network, Lines 1 and 10 cross, and where the latter has its city centre terminus.
此前的站台描述还「分线」,「铁路术语气氛」很浓厚。如今,郑州站经多次标识更新换代,最近在 2025 年底开始,以现代化车站元素升级这座百年老站(始建于 1904 年)。未来,这里也会有铁路连接至正要改造升级的未来郑州南站(现为小李庄站),升级中州铁路枢纽。
Previously, you would even see signs referring to specific track numbers, in addition to platform numbers — heaven for genuine rail geeks. The newest upgrade to station signage started in late 2025, upgrading a veteran station on the rails — established in 1904 already. There will also, in future, be a link to what is now Xiaolizhuang station, a station that, in future, will be expanded as the all-new Zhengzhou South station, adding another hub station to this Central China rail hub.
