回到伦敦后，Angela发现，自己的思绪依然会回到这个夏天的郑州。
今年6月，作为英国格林威治大学学校的学生，她来到河南财经政法大学参加暑期国际交流项目。在14天的校园生活与城市体验中，她带走的不只是照片和见闻，还有一群朋友，以及一份关于郑州、关于中国的独特记忆。
From the very first day, I felt so welcomed. I never expected the volunteers — who in just two weeks became so close to us — to greet us with hugs as if we'd known each other for years.

I felt so beautiful, and it was like stepping back in time — having people stop to take photos with me is something I will never experience anywhere else in the world.
穿上传统服饰，走在古城街道中，她感受到中国传统文化并不是停留在历史中的符号，而是仍然存在于今天生活里的真实场景。
回忆这段旅程时，Angela发现，真正留在她心里的，还有许多没有写进行程表的日常瞬间。
We shared food from home, played table tennis, cycled around the lake, explored Zhengzhou and spent hours talking.
她和来自不同国家的同学一起分享家乡美食，一起运动、聊天、探索郑州。
Some of my favourite memories were not the organised activities themselves but the simple moments in between that brought everyone closer together.
If there is one thing I’m taking back to London with me, it’s a deeper appreciation for how much richer the world feels when you step outside what’s familiar.
